The Safety Information Database (SID) is an easy to use search facility designed primarily for riggers and reserve packers, however the system will also be promoted to other parts of the industry such as drop zones, parachute associations, instructors, dealers and even directly to skydivers.

By agreeing to sponsor the database, manufactures can get all the benefits that the riggers registration gives while helping your customers at the same time. It can also help to reduce your own administration costs and its completely free to use.

All we ask is that you agree to upload any new safety bulletins or advisory notices and let skydive safety do the rest.

When you upload a new safety notice we will inform reserve packers, riggers, parachute associations, dropzones etc, who will get an automated notice by e-mail informing them and also anyone who packs a reserve will have access to a real time system knowing that its right up to date with information direct from manufacturers.

Because you contribute to the database the service is free of charges and in addition you get to keep control over what is published about your products as well as informing the industry in real time.

You will get access to high level features allowing you to upload any adobe published safety notice, safety bulletin. If you don't have adobe you can e-mail us with your information, we will convert it and upload it on your behalf.

You can go online at any time and update or modify existing safety notices.

This safety notice database was first used over 10 years ago, but with your input it can be even better, and we can give riggers and reserve packers the tools to help them do their job effectively.

In addition the whole website is based on giving the rigging community a one stop shop for all rigging related information, making life easier for riggers and reserve packers as well as helping to reduce the liability to dropzones and associations etc and improve safety.

We don't make policy so our only concern is the accurate passage of information, training and educating riggers and bring together a world wide community so we can all help each other.

In return you will be given a highlighted advertisements linking direct to your own web site, within our Skydivers Directory that can be accessed by anyone looking through the web site.

If you have already looked at the riggers registration you will notice riggers will be able to complete online equipment inspections forms, this is done by selecting a customers equipment profile which loads all the information direct into the inspection form. At the same time the database will locate each manufacturer from the profile and add the manufacturers logo and contact details to the form. Click the forms to see a draft copy of what is being developed.Reserve Packing Data Card or the BPA Record of Inspection Form each form completed will be allocated an individual serial number
