Memories of A World Record Day by Ian Marshall World Record A 100-way Diamond Canopy Formation If you are an experienced Canopy Formation Coach and would like to contribute to this page please e-mail info@skydive-safety.com We are also looking for a Technical Adviser for this section of the web site and a forum moderator, if you are interested please contact us with a short skydiving CV as we will be confirming all technical advisers in March 2008 A canopy formation is a formation built by parachutists by flying their parachutes in proximity to each other and then taking grips ( "docking") on other jumpers' parachutes. The practice of building such formations is known by several names; canopy formations (CF), or canopy relative work (CRW or CReW). To learn canopy formation work you first need 100 skydives on ram air parachutes
before a coach will introduce you to this very visual and dynamic part
of skydiving.
